Hollywood FLorida has coffee shops? YEa, Bean & rose! Duh
Bean & Rose Coffee Shop in Hollywood, Florida
This weeks Coffee Shops Come from
Fort Lauderdale, Fl.
Love finding little coffee shops gems on my work layovers.
This week I stumbled into Bean & Rose Craft Coffee House! So adorable. Apparently you should try their “Rose Latte” hence the name… but I did not put two and two together until after I ordered. I ordered and loved might I add the, French Vanilla Latte (fave) and the Cinnamon Latte.
I honestly really wanted to venture to Miami and get some good ole cuban coffee, but it was nice to venture around “Hollywood, Florida”. Next time I’ll try that “Rose Latte”!
Thats all I have for now!
Have a Great weekend!

Coffee run to colombia!
How many coffee shops can I stomach in 30 hours in Colombia?
So out of extreme coffee need I picked up a trip to Bogota, Colombia to get some “real” coffee. The trip gets in around 5am and departs back to Houston around 5am the next day, so I had 24 hours to do some caffeinated damage in Colombia.
First, I went to a Juan Valdez Cafe just to experience the “Starbucks like” vibe and experience and well… that’s exactly how it felt but most definitely rated above Starbucks. Also, they have a rum cold brew and an Irish latte with baileys… just so ya know 😉lol
After leaving Juan Valdez, my flying partner was already over my over zealous coffee venture so we returned to the hotel and I explored Devocion Cafe. This little cafe located in our hotel would’ve been absolutely perfect if I hadn’t had the previous latte. I instantly regretted my Juan Valdez after the first sip! I was so disappointed that I didn’t come here first. The aesthetic was like an “old timey” cafe, I really want to compare it to some cafes I’ve experienced in Amsterdam but I don’t want to dim the light of Colombian cafes. Anywho, I digress, overall this cafe was adorable, coffee was strong and robust! I am so glad the location is in such close proximity to our hotel so I’ll definitely be back!
Later in the evening, due to the constant rain, I was able to experience one more suggested cafe, Cafe Quindio! This place… this place… hold on while I wipe the drool off my lip.. THIS PLACE right here was my favorite! All in all a ten out of ten for me. I wish I could slide you a cup through the screen but the best I can do is link them below and share my photos and opinions. Honestly, the coffee, the patio, the music, the vibe, everything I need to make me stay and feel at home.
Thats all I have for now!
Have a Great weekend!

Daisy chain Coffee Shop des moines, ia
Google search best latte in Des Moines, Iowa…
This week I stumbled into Daisy Chain Coffee! So dope. This shop is ran and operated by Daniel, who apparently doubles as a bee farmer (or is it bee keeper). Whatever it is, because of it there are so many honey products in this shop. I’m also pretty sure I should have got the Miel Latte now that I think about it. Now I did not notice any food in the empty window display so I’m guessing thats not the focus here, but thats ok, I still loved the coffee and the experience.
I discovered that Daniel also had quite a bit of Intelligentsia Coffee items in his shop which led me to finding out that Intelligentsia is his background! If you’ve been to Chicago,Intelligentsia is a Coffee Shop you should be aware of!
Anywho, all in all… Im so glad I was able to experience one of the TWO coffee shops available in Des Moines. I even got a bag to take home and I’ve been brewing it all week!
Thats all I have for now!
Have a Great weekend!
